Biocompatíveis

3D printed medical devices

With the biocompatible material, you can quickly prototype medical and dental products, including orthopedic surgical guides and hearing aids. Medical prototyping materials offer excellent visualization and great dimensional stability.

3D printing with biocompatible material

PolyJet biocompatible photopolymer (MED610) is a rigid material for quick prototyping in the medical field. It features high dimensional stability and colorless transparency. The material is ideal for applications that require prolonged skin contact of more than 30 days and reduced contact with mucous membranes for up to 24 hours. The biocompatible material holds 5 medical approvals, including cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, delayed-type hypersensitivity, irritation, and USP class VI plastic. (Biological testing: Parts printed in accordance with the Objet MED610 Terms of Use and Maintenance have been evaluated for biocompatibility in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10993-1 standard: 2009, Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices – Part 1: Evaluation and Testing in a risk management process. Includes cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, delayed-type hypersensitivity, irritation, and USP Class VI plastic, which covers testing for irritation, acute systemic toxicity, and implementation.)

The biocompatible material can be used in all Objet Eden and Objet Connex 3D printers.

3D printing of hearing aids

With PolyJet’s 3D printing technology, you can quickly produce extremely precise hearing aid molds with smooth, comfortable surfaces. Hearing aid material is available in two colors: Transparent (FullCure630) and transparent pink (FullCure655). All materials received medical certification.
